Kameron Westcott revealed to his fans that she is undergoing several surgeries via social media. The Real Housewives of Dallas star was released from the hospital and made a recent update.
Westcott’s future matriarch suffers from a disease that affects only 1 in 200,000 people, called Achalasia. She shared a photo of the hospital bed on December 10.
“I feel ultra fabulous today!” Today, I have surgery on my esophagus to repair my achalasia. For those who don’t know… Achalasia is when you lose pressure from your esophageal tube and your sphincter to push food down. (In blond words.) Achalasia affects 1 in 200,000 people. It is a rare esophageal disease whose cause is still unknown. A few years ago, they developed a procedure called POEM in Tokyo, Japan. We now have 2 to 4 doctors in the United States using this method and we are so grateful that Dr. Mitchell Stravropoulos himself was trained in Japan to help cure so many Achalasia patients struggling in the United States ! I have already completed a 3 hour operation and I have headed for the next phase of the operation, this is what the liquid diet in my stories has told !! “
She followed her treatment carelessly complaining jokingly about the lack of luxury in hospitals. Before her operation, the mother of two made sure to take her children to New York to see all that the big apple has to offer.
On the 13th, Kameron returned to Dallas.
Bravolebrity shared a photo of themselves with their feet next to a caption that said, “I’m back from New York !! I sip my way through the weekend! (Literally ????) two more days until the soft food !! ???????? Good weekend to all !! “
Westcott has had a breakout season for RHOD. She went from the stuck princess to the hilarious diagram expert. She is also one of the only people to confront Leanne Locken on the show about her race-insensitive behavior before the reunion was recorded.
Heal quickly, Kameron!
