Katy Perry Rocks Vivienne Westwood Pink Skirt Suit and Pearl Choker for Coronation Concert Performance

Katy Perry wore a beautiful pink outfit to the much-anticipated Coronation of King Charles III at Westminster Abbey, but she sat in the wrong place.

Many of Katy Perry’s fans thought she looked “magnificent” as she entered the exclusive Westminster Abbey event.

Not everyone was as impressed as she was, but she could sit down once her huge hat blocked the view.

Her audience laughed at her mistakes as she tried to find her place, which was nice.

“Katy Perry is looking for her throne because she’s the real Queen of England!” was a favorite joke.

On Saturday, Katy Perry and other big names in music will sing at the coronation of King Charles III at Westminster Abbey.

The coronation concert will take place on the grounds of Windsor Castle and will be shown on the BBC and iPlayer. Katy Perry, Lionel Richie, and Andrea Bocelli will all perform at the concert.

“To be honest with you, I’m excited because this is history,” Richie told “Good Morning America.” We haven’t seen each other in a long time. You don’t get many chances like this, but that’s not the point.

The British pop group Take That, the Welsh bass-baritone Sir Bryn Terfel, the singer and songwriter Freya Ridings, and the classical-soul composer and producer Alexis Ffrench will also perform.

Richie said in a statement with the press release, “To share the stage with the other performers at The Coronation Concert is a once-in-a-lifetime chance. It will be an honor and a party.”

Before, Bocelli had sung for Queen Elizabeth II and said that singing at Prince Charles’ coronation would be “another great honor.” He said that he and Terfel would both be on stage at the same time.

Bocelli said he was happy and excited to sing a duet with “my dear friend and superb baritone, Sir Bryn Terfel.” He said, “My joy and excitement are multiplied because we get to sing an iconic song of love and community together.”

The BBC says that the coronation of Charles and his wife, Queen Camila, will mark “a new chapter in the history of the nation.”

The BBC says the concert will center on “themes of love, respect, and optimism that celebrate the four nations, their communities, and the Commonwealth.”

On Saturday, May 6, Westminster Abbey will be the place where King Charles will be crowned. A statement from Buckingham Palace in October said the event is a formal ceremony where the Archbishop of Canterbury will “anoint, bless, and consecrate” him as king.
