King Salman Park awards contracts worth 3.8 billion riyals to national companies

The King Salman Park Foundation has revealed the award of contracts worth 3.847 billion riyals to a group of national companies to implement parts of the King Salman Park project.

The foundation stated in a tweet on the site of social network “Twitter” today, Tuesday, that this coincides with the start of construction work.

He added that these contracts include site preparation work and the construction of a series of tunnels and bridges on Abu Bakr Al Siddik Road and Al Urubah Road, as well as infrastructure work and preparation work for the Royal Art Complex site.

King Salman Park is one of the four major Riyadh projects launched by the Keeper of the Two Sacred Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and is part of the achievement of one of the objectives of the “Kingdom’s Vision 2030”: to increase the classification of Riyadhs among the its counterparts in the world.

King Salman Park will be the largest city park in the world with a ‘area of over 16 square kilometers and will contain a variety of structures and facilities such as the Royal Art Complex, the National Theater, the Visitor Center, art academies and museums.

King Salman Park is characterized by its central location in the center of Riyadh city, and is connected to six main roads, and is connected to the Riyadh train through five stations and 10 stations of the Riyadh bus network with a dedicated track, which facilitates access from various parts of the city.
