After the ongoing tweet war on social media, the Ministry of External Affairs issued a statement saying that it is wrong to say anything without knowing. Agricultural laws have been passed by the Parliament of India. Now Bollywood actors Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgan have come out in protest against these tweets that tarnish India’s name. He has asked the people of the country to remain united.

Foreign Ministry had issued a statement
After Rihanna’s tweet, the Foreign Ministry wrote in a statement after a ruckus on Twitter that India’s Parliament passed reformist legislation in the agricultural sector after all the arguments and talks. These reforms will give big market and convenience to the farmers. A very small section of farmers in some parts of India doubt these reforms. It has also been written in the statement issued that some groups are trying to mislead them by bringing forward their issue on this movement. The statement also mentions violence on 26 January in the country’s capital.

The Ministry of External Affairs has requested that the issue be understood thoroughly before commenting on such matters. In the greed of sensation, social media hashtags and comments, especially those which are being celebrated, are neither right nor responsible.
