Kuwait limits the percentage of workers in government workplaces to no more than 50%

The Kuwaiti government has decided to limit the number of workers in government workplaces to no more than 50%.

The decision of the Council of Ministers has been entrusted to each government body for the determination of the appropriate percentage, which does not exceed these limits, provided that the decision is implemented from the day after tomorrow, Wednesday, until further notice, and the Public Function L the bureau is in charge of implementing the decision.

The head of Government Communication Center, the official spokesman for the government, Tariq Al-Mazram, said today, Monday, through the official account of the center on the website of social network “Twitter” that the government has asked the private sector to reduce the number of workers in the workplace to the minimum possible for conducting business.

Al-Muzram added that the decisions included an emphasis on daycare workers and gods club for children on the need to complete immunization against Corona virus, as well as ensure that they adhere to the application of health requirements.

And he indicated that the Council of Ministers has decided to limit the holding of internal meetings, conferences and courses through remote communication, starting the day after tomorrow, Wednesday, until further notice.

He recalled that the Council has also decided to oblige mass public transport not to exceed 50% of the number of passengers, with the commitment to implement health and preventive measures from the day after tomorrow, Wednesday, until further notice.

He said the Cabinet has decided to entrust the General Sports Authority to emphasize to the masses attending sporting activities the need to complete immunization against the Corona virus and adhere to the enforcement of health requirements.

He stressed that the Council of Ministers decided to emphasize to workers and visitors to salons and wellness centers the need to complete immunization against the Corona virus.

And indicated that the Council of Ministers has decided to circulate to all government entities that provide services to auditors by implementing these services through “online”, And in in case of need to be present, he does so by booking an appointment in central (Mawta platform) to manage government appointments, in a simple application or booking platforms Special Appointments in the institution.
