Lamar Jackson’s latest MAM performance enhances the performance of the Ravens Super Bowl 54

Lamar Jackson essentially closed the 2019 NFL MVP award with a spectacular performance against the Jets on Thursday night. Baltimore crushed Gang Green 42-21 as Jackson threw for a career-high five points in the win. Jackson was electric throughout the rock, setting the first season in the first quarter for the first half, and his game made the Ravens the team to beat in the eyes of the oddsmakers. Baltimore is now below +200 to win the Super Bowl.

The Ravens become an even bigger favorite of the Super Bowl

The Thieves were +225 to win the Super Bowl before last night’s game, but their dominance impressed everyone, including the oddsmakers. Baltimore have won 10 consecutive games after a 2-2 start and the Ravens can block the advantage of a local game in all playoffs with a win in one of their last two games. They will have an extra three days of rest before taking on the Browns in Week 16, and Baltimore will close out its season against Archrival Pittsburgh.

Baltimore will be a big favorite, according to NFL odds, in both games. The Ravens weren’t impressive against these division rivals earlier this year, losing 40-25 at home to the Browns and needed overtime to beat the Steelers.

Provided they do not collapse and lose their last two regular season games, Baltimore is in a great position in the AFC. The conference has only three real candidates, and the Ravens are likely to avoid either New England or Kansas City in the AFC Playoff Divisional Round. Patriots and leaders are heavy favorites to end up as the No. 1 seed. 2 and no. 3, while seed no. 4 is paved for either Houston or Tennessee.

Lamar Jackson passed Michael Vick as QB long before breaking a record

Neither the Texans nor the Titans are considered a big threat, though, and the Ravens would have preferred more than a touchdown if they were to meet in January. While New England’s Super Bowl odds are +450 and Kansas City’s Super Bowl odds are +700, Tennessee and Houston also have Super Bowl +4000 odds.

As long as their stars stay healthy, Baltimore would probably favor the NFC champion if the Ravens reached the Super Bowl. The Ravens have recently won favorites to win the NFC in San Francisco, and the 49ers are one of two teams in the conference with less than a 10-1 chance of winning the Super Bowl.

The odds for NFC teams to win the Super Bowl are higher given the overall power of the conference. A potential 10-win team in Minnesota or Los Angeles could be left out of the playoffs, and any potential playoff team is considered a Super Bowl contender.

Lamar Jackson MVP odds

Prior to Thursday night’s game, Jackson was the overwhelming favorite to win the NFL MVP. At the end of October, Jackson’s MVP performances were roughly the same as Russell Wilson’s, but Jackson separated from New England with a win and continued his incredible play throughout November.

On Thursday morning, Jackson’s NFL MVP odds were -1000, but stayed off the board after the Jets died last night. The online sports casinos might not open the market back again as Jackson is such a disparaging favorite and would probably be at least -2500 to win the prize if the bet on this bet was reopened.

Jackson’s 33 points are seven more than any other champion in the league, and his 1,100 turnovers are more than double that of Kyler Murray and Josh Allen.
