Laporta holds an urgent meeting to sack Koeman from the Barcelona manager

The reports of the media Spaniards indicated that Barcelona team president Joan Laporta held an urgent meeting with management members in order to consider the dismissal of Dutch manager Ronald Koeman.

According to the newspaper “Sport”, Laporta held a meeting immediately after the end of the meeting and continued for prime in the morning, in the presence of the vice president Rafael Yuste and the sporting director Matteo Alemani.

The fate of the Dutch manager was not disclosed after the meeting, with no news leaked about it.

The Spanish newspaper “El Mundo Deportivo” also reported that Gerard Pique left the stadium two hours after the match ended, and it is unknown why the player was in delay, even if it was linked to the Dutchman’s exemption.

Interestingly, Koeman criticized in previously the president of club, describing his statements as “wrong,” which raised many doubts about Laporta’s relationship with Koeman.
