Lewandowski wins the FIFA World Player award of the Year for the second consecutive year

Zurich: Bayern Munich’s Polish forward Robert Lewandowski won the award for the best player in the world, in the FIFA referendum on “The Best” awards for the year 2021. Lewandowski won the award today, Monday, during the FIFA ceremony, which took place as a virtual event at the FIFA headquarters in the Swiss city of Zurich, without the presence of contenders for the various awards or guests due to the crisis of the outbreak of the new coronavirus.
