Liverpool beat Everton in top of the city and keep chasing the City

Liverpool: Liverpool scored two goals in the second half by beating their host and rival Everton 2-0 at the top of Merseyside, and becoming a point behind English Premier League leaders Manchester City on Sunday. After Everton, they had retired in drop zone before today’s game, held out for an hour of play, Mohamed Salah penetrated from the right wing and sent a cross that left-back Andrew Robertson headed in brings. Substitute Divock Origi added the second goal with a close range header following a side kick from another substitute Luis Diaz in the 85th minute.
