The English side of Liverpool started their campaign in the new season of the Champions League, with a difficult victory over visiting Milan (3-2) in an exciting game that brought them together on Wednesday evening.

Milan responded with two goals in two minutes with Croatian strikers Ante Rebic and Spaniard Ibrahim Diaz respectively in the 42nd and 44th minutes.
Salah returns and at 49 ‘achieves a draw for the hosts, compensating for the wrong penalty.
Reds captain Jordan Henderson scored the winning goal for his team in the 69th minute of the match, which took place at the “Anfield” stadium.
