It is unclear whether TVA judge Ravonna Renslayer (Gugu Mbatha-Raw) want help or hinder Mobius in his quest.

The villain revealed

Enter the Citadel at the End of Time, Loki and Sylvie meet the One Who Remains (Jonathan Majors), who appears to be a version of cartoon jumping time villain Kang the Conqueror. We already I knew this guy had to do his MCU debut in February 2023 movie Ant-Man and the Vespa: Quantumania.

Since he was never called Kang in this episode, apparently like the Kang has yet to appear. The one who remains claims to be the last survived of a multiversal war that has broken out out when multiple versions of he made contact after the discovery of the multiverse in on 31 century.

He tamed and armed Alioth, using being trans-temporal to end the war (presumably by devouring up other times). To prevent that from happening again, created the TVA to manage the Sacred Timeline.

In the comics, Kang is a 31-year-old villain century who’S faced off against the Avengers many times from his 60s debut.

Multiverse restored

Loki and Sylvie fight over The fate of the One Who Remains, with quest’last in arrival out on in high (after some kissy time Variant). she throws Loki back to the TVA and kills the One Who Remains, who makes the timeline branch like crazy – apparently leaving many versions of Kang run go crazy through the multiverse.

Their influence is soon made apparent in TVA, when Loki tries to warn best Mobius agent gem (Owen Wilson) and Hunter B-15 (Wunmi Mosaku) on the threat. They can’t remember it and Loki turns to see a statue of Kang wearing his comic costume towering over TVA – looks like the God of Mischief was sent to a different timeline version of the agency, one which Kang openly controls.

Post-credits announcement

A stamp hits Loki’s TVA file, revealing that “Loki torneràki in season 2 “- the timeline antics and variant kiss will continue.
