LOOK: Doorbell cam shows Suspected death from the Waukesha parade in moments before arrest

A bell camera filmed Darrell Brooks shortly before being arrested as a prime suspect in the killing of multiple people at a parade in Waukesha, Wisconsin. The host unwittingly offered himself help, thinking Brooks homeless.

In the video, captured on November 21 and obtained by NBC, Brooks can be seen on a porch in a shirt, shaking. Says the owner of the home he is waiting for an Uber.

“Can you call it for me please? I’m homeless “ Brooks tells the resident, Daniel Rider, who he told NBC that he offered Brooks a jacket and some food and left him use his phone. Knight says was not aware of the incident at the parade, which took place less than a mile away.

Rider asked Brooks to leave when he noticed the auto of the police in the neighborhood, but the man came to his door again, asking for his identity card, which he presumably had left inside.

The police eventually came and placed 19-year-old Brooks below arrest, which can be seen in video. The footage was recorded about 20 minutes after an SUV allegedly driven by Brooks launched into the parade, killing five and dozens of wounded.

Several conservative activists highlighted left-political employee content on Brooks’ social media messages, but the police said that crime he did not have tale motivation and Brooks was fleeing the scene of a domestic disturbance.

He was released from custody earlier this month after being charged in a separate household disturbance incident and a $ 1,000 posting cash bail. The Milwaukee County District Attorney has since referred to the bail set for Brooks like “inappropriately low”.
