Gas prices in Europe fell at auction today, on Friday, by 6.5% to $1,680 per thousand cubic meters.
By 09:15 Moscow time, gas futures on the TTF index fell 6.5% to $1,681.3 per thousand cubic meters. Contracts for blue fuel ended yesterday’s trading at $1,798.7 per thousand cubic meters.
Despite the decline in gas prices in European markets, they are still at a high level and pose a threat to the economies of European countries.
On the other hand, European data showed that underground gas storage facilities in Europe are more than 90% full.
