Lucy Verasamy: ITV weather star flashes pins as she steps out in mini skirt and wellies

ITV Weather presenter Lucy Verasamy, 40, has taken to Instagram to give fans an insight into her idyllic day out in the Kent countryside. The brunette beauty showed off her sense of style while wearing a practical pair of black wellington boots to pick cherries at a farm.

Lucy flaunted her enviably toned pins by pairing the wellies with a classic denim mini skirt.

The meteorologist paired her skirt with an oversized khaki shirt, which she wore unbuttoned over a white T-shirt.

Lucy styled her locks into loose waves, which framed her face, as she clutched onto a wicker basket full of freshly picked cherries.

The ITV star smiled for cameras as she embraced the countryside for her latest campaign with Marks & Spencer.

Lucy was busy filming a new project for the shop in Kent, which she teased in view of her 151,000 Instagram followers with a short video.

In the clip, the presenter could be seen checking out the cherries alongside a farmer, as she was joined by co-host Chris Baber.

Lucy captioned the post: “Picking cherries in the Kent countryside.

“Sarah the cherry farmer described it as a labour of love.

“The cherries are all individually picked on wooden ladders with bespoke wicker baskets.

“Love how traditional it still is – this one is heavier than it looks.”

Alongside her weather forecasts for ITV, Lucy has been working with TV chef Chris Baber in partnership with Marks & Spencer.

In recent months, Lucy has also filmed in Norfolk and Jersey.

Elsewhere, the television personality admitted on Instagram she had “run out” of eye rolls after a month of “never-ending rain” back in May.

The ITV weather forecaster shared her feelings about the weather alongside a fitting poem by Brian Bilston that described the “never-ending” rain the UK has experienced.

The poem read: “After a wet start, rain will give way to intermittent showers, interspersed with outbreaks of rain.

“As the day progresses, expect rainclouds to blow in from the west until late afternoon when the wet weather will be relieved by a short downpour and a welcome spell of a heavy drizzle.

“Before finally settling down in the early evening into a prolonged period of persistent driving, never-ending rain.”

In response to the poem, Lucy typed: “By poet @brian_bilston. I’ve run out of eye rolls this month.”

It came after the UK experienced unpleasantly cold temperatures at the time, as lockdown measures across the country eased.
