Macron: I’m not the leader of a team, I’m the leader of all the French

Emmanuel Macron, who was re-elected French president on Sunday against far-right rival Marine Le Pen, said a vote against the National Rally Party “is necessary for me in the coming years”.

But he also addressed his opponents, saying: “I am not the leader of a team, but the boss of all,” according to the AFP.

“I know that a number of our compatriots voted for me on Sunday, not to support the ideas I bring, but to oppose (ideas) of the far right,” Macron said. in a speech in front of the Eiffel Tower in Paris, noting that “this vote obliges me for the next few years”.
