Magnitude 5 earthquake hits central Peru

Today, a magnitude 5 earthquake struck the province of Pasco in central Peru, and the Peruvian Geophysical Institute said in a statement that the epicenter of the earthquake occurred 36 km from the city of Oaxabamba, located in the province, and at a depth of 107 km.

So far, no human or material damage has been reported as a result of the earthquake.
