Mahd Sports Academy has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Saudi Taekwondo Federation to improve relations between the two parties, develop technical programs, train sports talent of different age groups and implement joint plans that help discover, attract and develop talent through various channels of attraction.
The head of the Mahd Sports Academy, Abdullah bin Faisal Hammad, stressed the importance of this memorandum, indicating that the participation of talents in the activities of the Federation, including national, regional, continental and international championships for the target age groups, is the most important clause of the memorandum of understanding with the Saudi Taekwondo Federation.
He emphasized the establishment of tournaments and competitions for the target age groups to determine the levels of the players and develop their skills thanks to worthy technical skills and to achieve sporting excellence in various sports.
For his part, the president of the Saudi Federation of Taekwondo, Brigadier General Shaddad bin Tal` Al-Omari, stressed that the memorandum of understanding is an important step in the process of discovery and development of talents, stressing that creating generations of professional taekwondo champions is a goal agreed by the two sides to achieve national, regional and continental results.
Taekwondo is a fertile ground through which to discover many talents, after martial arts have recently reached Asian and global milestones and have seen great interest from young and offspring in the Kingdom.
