British newspaper The Athletic reported Thursday that Manchester United have reached an agreement with German manager Ralf Rangnick to take in I load the team’s training in the next period.
The newspaper said the deal between United and Rangnick provided that the German would temporarily take over the team’s lineup for a period of six months and that he would do consultancy in the club for another two years.
Rangnick is about to terminate his contract with Lokomotiv Moscow, in he works as a football manager, and will be doing administrative and consultancy work at Old Trafford starting next season (2021-2022).
This means that the Manchester United administration will continue to look for a permanent manager to take on the role of coaching the “Red Devils” at the end of the season. in course with Rangnick.
The club English fired his Norwegian coach, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, from his position last week, after the club entered in a cycle of negative results at all levels.
Interestingly, Rangnick successfully served as a consultant first in the club Red Bull Salzburg in Austria and Leipzig in Germany.
Rangnick, 63, will not be able to lead Manchester United against Chelsea next Sunday, in prime 13 games of the English Premier League, due to the procedures for obtaining a work permit in England.
