Martin Roberts, presenter of Homes Under The Hammer, has purchased a derelict pub in Blaencwm, Wales, to renovate and reopen for the community. He plans to add disabled accommodation and create tourism in the area. His wife, Kirsty, was surprised by the purchase but is supportive. Martin may film the renovation for a new TV show. He and Kirsty first met at the top of Mount Kilimanjaro, where Martin had collapsed with altitude sickness and Kirsty came to his rescue. Martin is also known for appearing on I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here, The Chase, Celebrity Masterchef, and BBC radio shows.
