Paris Saint-Germain announced on Thursday that their star striker Kylian Mbappe will be out for three weeks due to a thigh injury. This means he will miss the first leg of the Champions League match against Bayern Munich, as well as the French Cup round of 16 match against Olympique de Marseille. Mbappe sustained the injury during the first half of PSG’s 3-1 win over Montpellier on Wednesday. PSG stated that after undergoing exams, Mbappe had injured a muscle in his left thigh. In addition, defender Sergio Ramos was also replaced during the match due to a connective muscle disorder and will have further tests today to determine the extent of the injury. PSG currently leads the French first division by five points and will host Toulouse next Saturday.
