When Meghan King Edmonds left the Real Housewives of Orange County after season 12, she moved from southern California to St. Louis, Missouri, where her husband Jim lives and works as a sports presenter for Fox Sports Midwest.
The couple already had their daughter Aspen and their twins Hart and Hayes were on their way. They were building a new life in the Midwest, and that included innovative work in a brand new house.
But now – after Jim suddenly filed for divorce in October after Meghan accused him of cheating on the nanny – Meghan is back in California and Jim has moved into the mansion they had built in the past two years .
Earlier this week, Jim posted a photo with the three little children – Aspen is now 3, and Hart and Hayes are 17 months old – and he wrote in the caption that his cubs are getting fat. He added that they were heading to California to see their mom, so Hart could get “a little more treatment.”
Meghan revealed on her Instagram story this week that she had moved into a “long-term rental” in California, and is close to where Hart receives treatment for her “irreversible brain damage” related to her diagnosis of periventricular leukalacia.
Last summer, Hart began therapy in Los Angeles and Meghan documented the trip on social media.
“(The doctor) said that this (the diagnosis) explains all my concerns: the stiffness in his muscles, the physical milestones (somewhat delayed), the lack of fluidity in the movements of the arms and legs, the stiffness of the joints, the weakness of his lower back, the somewhat privileged use of his right side, “wrote Meghan.
When the kids arrived in California, Meghan posted a video of their reunion on her Instagram story. And, she also posted photos of children enjoying the outdoors under the California sun.
Since their separation, Meghan and Jim have accepted 50/50 custody of their children, including alternate holidays. Earlier this month, Meghan told Us Weekly that she had “very high hopes for the future” and that she looks forward to new starts in the new year and the new decade. She has not disclosed if she will return to RHOC for next season, but has appeared as a friend in season 14.
As for Jim, his daughter Hayley commented on the photo his father had posted with the three cubs, writing that they were so fortunate to have him as a father.
“You are such an incredible father to ALL of your children and it is inspiring to see you take care of and put your children first, including me!” “#Killinthedadgame,” wrote Hayley.
