Mehmooda Duke steps down as Leicestershire chairman with immediately effect |  Cricket

Mehmooda Duke has resigned as chairman of Leicestershire with immediately effect, saying cricket has been “torn” by persistent accusations of racism.

She was one of just two people of ethnic minority groups to such role across first-class cricket and was due to step down from her role in March.
