Microsoft said today that its Outlook app for Mac computers can now be used without a Microsoft 365 subscription or license.
Outlook works with many email services, like Outlook.com, Gmail, iCloud, and Yahoo Mail. It has a unified inbox and a universal search feature. The Verge said that the app had been made to work best on Macs with Apple silicon chips.
Microsoft redesigned outlook for macOS in 2020. The app works with Notification Center widgets, Handoff between macOS and iOS, and more.
