Actor and fitness enthusiast Milind Soman, who recently battled coronavirus, has managed to run his first 10,000 km after recovering from the deadly disease. On Wednesday, Milind wrote on Instagram, “My first 10k post covid! 62 mins, comfortable, max heart rate during 142 runs. I have been running 5-6kms every day since I got my negative report on 5th April. ” Apart from sharing his achievement, Milind also answered some questions about running. He shared that he wears five-toed shoes while running shoes make him feel uncomfortable.

The 55-year-old wrote, “For running, I wear either a five-fingered Vibram with toes, or Luna sandals. I find closed shoes uncomfortable, I can’t walk with my natural look.” His second tip was – “Surface doesn’t matter, technique matters. Run slowly.” Milind said, “Running correctly and regularly strengthens the legs and is good for the knees. For those who are just starting out/restarting/sick/injured/more Have weights. Start with a very slow pace and a short comfortable distance. Regularity is the key to improvement.”
He also told about his diet regime. “If I am running 5-6 km a day then I do not need any special diet. If I am running 50-60 km in a day then I may need to eat more,” Milind also Revealed that he does not use any sunscreen to avoid tan. “I don’t use sunscreen. After running, if the sun is really hot, I put a little yogurt on my face, and when it dries, wash it off with water. Skin feels good, The tan looks amazing,” he concluded.
