Minecraft on PS4 – Cross-Play with Bedrock Edition Update

Tomorrow (December 10), PS4 Minecraft users will finally join the larger Minecraft community thanks to a free update to the Bedrock version of the game, which enables cross-platform gaming. PS4, Xbox One, Windows 10, Switch, iOS, Android and Gear VR players can be played together.

The purchases and advances of PS4 players will continue, with access to the full range of Minecraft worlds, skins, and more.

Sony’s efforts to activate Crossplay for titles such as Minecraft, Rocket League and Fortnite were slower than those of the competition. That’s great – albeit late – news for everyone.
