What Is Minions: The Rise of Gru’s Plot?
In Minions: The Rise of Gru, the story will pick up where Minions left off. It’s sometime in the 1970s, and Gru, who we usually think of as an adult, is only 12 years old. He wants to be the best supervillain in the world, which is the opposite of how we usually think of him.
He goes to meet The Vicious 6, a well-known group of bad guys because he wants to join them. Gru steals a valuable stone with the help of his Minions to prove himself to this group. But it’s not as easy as he thought to become a bad guy.
Soon, Gru realizes that he has made himself an enemy of the evilest person he can think of, so he and his fearless followers, the Minions, go on the run. To save himself, he ends up asking for help from the most unlikely person: Wild Knuckles, the former leader of The Vicious 6, whom Gru wanted to replace. Gru will go on a mission to get what he wants, no matter what it costs, with his loyal group of ancient yellow creatures.
