His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs, today received Solomon Islands Prime Minister Manasseh Sogavare and his accompanying delegation at the Ministry headquarters in Riyadh. His Highness the Minister of Foreign Affairs conveyed greetings and appreciation from the Keeper of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister – what a God protect them both – to your country, and their best wishes to the government and people of the Solomon Islands for continued stability, progress and prosperity

Bilateral Relations and Cooperation

During the reception, they reviewed the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and ways to strengthen and develop them in various fields, as well as discussing the intensification of joint coordination on many issues of concern to the two friendly countries.

Economic Opportunities

The two sides also discussed opportunities for economic cooperation in light of the Kingdom’s Vision 2023 and exchanged views on developments on the international scene and efforts made in that sense.

The reception was attended by the Ambassador of the Keeper of the Two Holy Mosques to the Commonwealth of Australia and the appointed non-resident of the Solomon Islands, Mr. Sultan bin Fahd bin Khuzaym.
