Mohamed Salah scores his 100th goal in Premier League – (photo)

London: Egyptian international star Mohamed Salah, Liverpool’s top scorer, has become the latest to make the English Premier League greats list, after reaching his 100th goal in career in the prestigious competition, after scoring the first goal for Liverpool against his host Leeds United in his match in course at the stadium (Island Road) today, Sunday, in the fourth phase of the championship. Salah has scored 98 goals for Liverpool in the English Premier League since joining the red team in June 2017, after scoring in previously two goals in competition with his former Chelsea team, in which he played between January 2014 and January 2015. Salah, who currently ranks second on the list of most African players to score goals in the English Premier League, is only four goals away to equal the number of goals of the Ivorian star in Didier Drogba pension, which so far is in top of the list, with 104 goals. Interestingly, this is the (Egyptian Pharaoh’s) third goal in the competition in this season, after scoring in previously against Norwich City and Chelsea, a goal behind the tournament’s top scorer, which is currently shared by West Ham United and Manchester United (DPA) players Michael Antonio and Bruno Fernandes respectively
