Yaoundé: The Moroccan national football team reached the round of 16 of the African Nations Cup, after beating Comoros 2-0, today, Friday, in the second round of Group C of the African Nations Cup, currently in course in Cameroon. The Moroccan team raised the score to six points in head to the group, to ensure the qualification to the next round, regardless of the results of the remaining games of the group, from reaching the next round as one of the prime 4 teams ranked third in their group. Salim Amlah scored the first goal for the Moroccan side in the 16th minute, before Zakaria Abu added during the second goal in the 89th minute. (DPA)
