“Morsoul Egypt” in Al-Arabiya: we expect to reach profitability after a year and a half

Osama Harfouche, general manager of the “Mrsoul Egypt” application for order delivery, predicted that the company would achieve parity and profitability within a year and a half of the current stage.

In an interview with “Al Arabiya”, Harfouch indicated that Estimates of growth opportunities in the delivery sector in Egypt, between 8% and 10%, and the growth rate can reach 15% with changes in act and increased cooperation between workers in this field.

He added that these estimates are in in line with global growth forecasts for the food delivery sector of 10% per year and that the global food delivery market is expected to reach $ 365 billion by 2030.

Harfouche spoke of the intensity of competition for the customer in the delivery sector in Egypt, noting that what distinguishes Msool’s services is that it is more thorough in the delivery of various orders, not just food.

He claimed that the order delivery market in Egypt grew 8% last year, bringing the entire food delivery market to $ 2.5 billion.

Interestingly, the Middle East and North Africa region is seeing growth in the business of emerging companies, in the delivery sector, whose annual revenues in this region exceeded $ 9 billion last March.
