Motsi Mabuse, 40, has revealed how some of her Instagram followers believed she was “Photoshopping” her photos after she lost an impressive two stone in weight. The Strictly Come Dancing judge said that although she had received praise from most of her fans, occasionally, a mean-spirited comment would come through.
I have a lot of feedback
She told Express.co.uk: “I have a lot of feedback, a lot of people say I’m inspiring them, and my friends are looking at me like, ‘We can’t believe when we wake up in the morning, you have already worked out’.
“I’m like, ‘Yes’. But a lot of people thought I Photoshopped my pictures!”
Motsi explained her incredible body overhaul was not a result of photo editing software, but was due to her regular workouts during lockdown.
She added: “No it is not Photoshop, it’s just the change and you just inspire people in all ways.“

To stay committed to her newfound healthy lifestyle, Motsi relies on WW (formerly known as WeightWatchers) to ensure she keeps herself in check.
She revealed: “I’ve known WW for a long time, and my mum was doing this when I was younger.
“So I was like, ‘Oh I’m there where my mum was’. I felt like I was reconnecting to what my mum did. I think we all do that.”
The dance coach says the plans with WW have been easy to follow and still allow for the occasional treat.

She continued: “For me it works, you know WeightWatchers. It works because you can integrate it into your daily life.
“I think it’s very important people don’t feel like they are missing out on something.
“If you plan something really well then you can have so much and still be losing weight.
“You can be so busy and still be losing weight. I think that is important but the losing weight journey is not an easy one.”

Motsi welcomed her daughter with husband Evgenij Voznyuk in 2018.
The family are currently living in Germany where tough lockdown restrictions are still in place.
The Strictly Come Dancing judge turned 40 last month, but as of yet has been unable to have any celebrations.
Opening up on how she spent her milestone birthday, Motsi revealed: “I was working on television in Germany, it is still in a lockdown so there was not much I could do.
“I was working on the TV show, and the next days were filled with lots of love and attention from my husband.”
Her younger sister Oti Mabuse, who appears on Strictly as a professional dancer, turned 30 last year.
Motsi hopes next year, when all restrictions will hopefully be over, they will be able to have a big party.
She added: “I said next year all of us… I mean Oti turned 30 last year, I turned 40 this year. So next year there are going to be big parties in our family.”
