Last week, the game’s official X account posted a message teasing a potential comeback, and has been dropping hints ever since.
A recent message suggested that the game could be re-revealed today at 6am PT / 9am ET / 1pm GMT.
According to the post, the “Mic check” was successful, and fans are encouraged to stay tuned for updates from game director Tony Huynh.
The MultiVersus open beta was launched in July 2022 and garnered a lot of attention initially. However, player numbers started to decline due to lack of updates.
The game was removed from digital stores in April 2023 and went offline in June 2023 in preparation for its “full launch” this year.
