American businessman Elon Musk confirmed that law firms control clients through class action lawsuits, linking this to the high cost of treatment in the United States.
Billionaire Musk said the current class action law is a “heavy burden” on the American people and called for reform.
Notably, on Wednesday, Musk appeared in court in Delaware over Tesla’s compensation payments.
The lawsuit, initiated by the company’s shareholders, concerns payments that the businessman received from his private foundation in 2018.
After that, the board of directors agreed to pay Musk compensation in the amount of more than $50 billion.
Before the start of the trial, the billionaire appeared in the building surrounded by heavy security and did not allow the journalists.
