Naples Secures Quarter-Final Lead with Brace Against Frankfurt

Napoli, an Italian team, came close to making it to the quarter-finals of the European Champions League by beating hosts Eintracht Frankfurt of Germany 2-0 in the first leg of their round of 16 match today. Napoli were awarded a penalty in the 36th minute for a violation by Aurelio Bota against Victor Osimhen, but Frankfurt’s goalkeeper Kevin Trapp saved the penalty taken by Khafisha Kvaratskhelia.
