TSR Updatez: NBA YoungBoy received good news before Christmas. Most of the serious charges in his assault and kidnapping case involving his ex-girlfriend Jania were dropped after he accepted a very good deal.
According to TMZ, YoungBoy pleaded guilty to a simple family violence offense against a battery. In return, prosecutors dropped the charges of kidnapping and aggravated assault, according to the Georgia Georgia district prosecutor’s office.
YoungBoy will also avoid jail in this case. He was sentenced to 12 months probation and was fined $ 1,500. He must also take anger management courses and have no violent contact with the victim, his ex-girlfriend and the mother of one of his children, Jania.
Now the outcome of this case has a lot to do with Jania’s refusal to testify against YoungBoy.
This incident occurred in February 2018 when YoungBoy was accused of slapping his friend at the time before dragging her to his room. Surveillance footage captured the violent moment, but his girlfriend at the time insisted that they were just playing.
The grand jury issued an indictment on two counts of aggravated assault and kidnapping.
At that time, Jania did not want to file a complaint. The Ware District attorney says that Jania refused to appear in court and told the DA office that she would not testify if she was brought to justice against her will.
“We have resolved the case to the best of our ability without his cooperation,” said district attorney George Barhill.
It looks like the pair will have no problem staying away since they haven’t been dating for a while. Most recently, NBA YoungBoy shot Jania, alleging that she had given herpes in an unreleased song. You can read about it here.
We hope things get better for NBA YoungBoy as he continues to advance his music career. Stay here for the latest news.
