Your favorite sports drama television series, All American, just dropped its latest season on Netflix and fans are already buzzing over when the next season is going to come out. All of you night owls and early birds had to stay up pretty late to wait for the newest season to be released on the streamer. No judgement here because I was up too counting down the hours!
If you’re not familiar with the show, All American is about a young, aspiring football player named Spencer James. The audience follows his story as he transfers from Crenshaw to Beverly High after he’s recruited by Beverly’s football coach, Billy Baker.
This move for Spencer doesn’t end up being the easiest move because Beverly Hills is a totally different environment from South Crenshaw. Not only is he forced to leave his family and best friend Coop behind, but he also has to move in with the Bakers. Drama ensues and life for Spencer James drastically changes.
With each season of All-American, the fan base grows. It’s not really surprising because this show makes you feel like you’re a part of the story. You become so invested in the characters and their lives that at times, you have to remind yourself that it’s just a television show.
Have I convinced you enough to go watch All-American? I’m telling you this show is good and it’s only going to get better! I know you’re probably like me and want to have a full-blown binge session.
Well, I’m here to tell you that all current seasons of All American are on Netflix and I’m going to break down just how many.
How many seasons of All American are streaming on Netflix?
At the present time, there are three seasons of All American streaming on Netflix. Season 1 and Season 2 consist of 16 episodes each with an episode running time of 42 minutes. Season 3 gave the fans what they wanted and added three more episodes, making its season consist of 19 episodes. Also, season 3 included a backdoor pilot for the spin-off series, All American: Homecoming. That episode was really good so you should definitely check it out!
That’s a lot of episodes to binge, but I believe in you! The episodes are a little over a half-hour show, but with the show’s intensity, you’re going to blow right through them.
Those 42 minutes go by so fast that you can probably binge-watch all three seasons in a day. Okay, maybe two. If you start today, you’ll be ready for the upcoming season 4 this fall. After you’re done catching up, let me know in the comments what you think about the shocking season 3 finale!
