Netflix: Is Dune coming to Netflix?

Dune is arguably one of the most highly-anticipated movies of the year and sci-fi fans are absolutely losing their minds over what’s to come very soon.

The movie theaters are sure to be packed to the brim with fans desperately waiting to see mega-superstars Timothee Chalamet, Zendaya, and Stars Wars actor Oscar Isaac on the big screen.

For many, October 2, 2021, simply could not come quickly enough and we certainly agree, which is why we’re here to tell you where you’ll be able to watch every minute of Dune once it premieres. Check it out down below.

Is Dune coming to Netflix?

Unfortunately, Dune coming to Netflix in 2021 is highly unlikely. Licensing rights aside, newly released non-Netflix original films typically take some time to come to the streaming platform in the first place, and with such a huge release like this one, it could take an even longer time for the sci-fi movie to be available on Netflix.

Of course, this could change in the near or distant future, but as of right now, it doesn’t look like Dune will come to Netflix any time soon. But don’t fret! There is at least one streaming site that will house this upcoming film so that you can watch this movie in the comfort of your own home.

Where will I be able to watch Dune?

Your favorite purple streaming site HBO Max is the only site set to have Dune available to watch on its platform, which does make sense considering this site adds new theatrical releases to their lineup relatively quickly. Hopefully, there will be more sites that will have this 2021 film, but until we know for sure, HBO Max is your only option outside of movie theaters and VOD services.

We know that it may be a bummer that Dune won’t stream on your other favorite platforms, but there are still some great titles on Netflix right now just like this one such as Star TrekMasters of the Universe: Revelation, and Jupiter’s Legacy.
