Fans of the Netflix original sci-fi series Strangers Things are anxious to hear any news about a release date for the fourth season. Well, good news! It sounds like a release date will be announced this month. This is exciting news as it has been a long time since season 3 aired in 2019. One character that fast became of fan-favorite is Steve Harrington, played by Joe Keery.
Steve Harrington was introduced in season 1 as a recurring role and was upgraded to a regular character by season 2. When he was first introduced, Steve was kind of a jerk, but we find out that it is mostly because of his friends Tommy and Carol’s influence. He was always King Steve among his high school peers and let the popularity go to his head, which translated into a pretty boy with an awful personality.
He dated Nancy Wheeler for a time, but after that failed, his personality changed for the better while he dealt with the emotions of losing her. He did really care about Nancy but realized it too late. He became friends with Dustin, and while this friendship was an unlikely pair, the friendship worked. Steve became the “babysitter” of Dustin and his friends and would do everything to protect them.
The character finally found his footing, and his true nature was revealed. He has become a responsible young man who is brave and a bit reckless, which proves beneficial in dealing with the Mindflayer and Russians and all that. Season 4 is bound to bring us more Steve moments, and I can’t wait.
Joe Keery age
The actor who plays Steve is Joe Keery, and he is 29 years old. His character is 19 in season 3, and his youthful appearance makes that age believable.
Joe Keery Instagram
It seems Keery has removed his IG page. His handle was @uncle_jezzy, and that page isn’t currently available.
His Twitter page is still available but has had no recent activity since January.
While promoting his movie Spree, he created an account for his character Kurt Kunkle and that page hasn’t had activity for 15 weeks.
