Netflix: Lupin Part 2 is coming to Netflix: June 11, 2021

Lupin  premiered on Netflix in January 2020, and for once, we don’t have to wait super long time to get the second half of a Netflix show. All five episodes of part 2 of Lupin will be on Netflix on Friday, June 11. If you haven’t started part 1, now is the time!

Lupin follows master thief, Assane Diop, as he pulls off various heists by using what he learned from the fictional thief, Arsène Lupin. But Assane isn’t committing these crimes just for the fun of it. He’s doing it to avenge his father who was killed due to the actions of a wealthy and powerful family.

The French Netflix original series stars Omar Sy, Vincent Londez, Ludivine Sagnier, Hervé Pierre, Soufiane Guerrab, and Etan Simon.

The last time we saw Assane (spoilers ahead!), his son, Raoul, had just been kidnapped by Capitaine Romain Laugier, and Assane, along with Claire, Raoul’s mom, frantically searched for him. That’s how part 1 ended. It was an epic cliffhanger.

What time is Lupin Part 2 on Netflix?

Netflix will release Lupin Part 2 at 12:01 a.m. PT on Friday, June 11. Fans on the West coast of the United States can stay up late on Thursday night and start watching just after midnight.

East coast fans have to wait until 3 a.m. ET to watch the series. And, if you live in France, you can watch the new episodes of Lupin starting at 9 a.m. on Friday, June 11.

So thank goodness we only had to wait 6 months. With that ending, waiting a year or two would’ve been cruel and unusual punishment! I can hear Stranger Things fans yelling at me now.

After the kidnapping, Assane is going to be set on not only getting his son back but also making the man who took him pay, possibly with his life. But that’s going to be easier said than done when Assane’s face is all over the news thanks to Laugier. This is going to be a fight to the death and I can’t wait to see what happens.

And the heists! The heists are going to be absolutely epic!

Luckily, this won’t be the last time we see Assane Diop and the spectacular heists he pulls off. Omar Sy recently confirmed on Twitter that there will be a part 3. When that comes out (or if filming has even started yet) is still up in the air.
