The future of Manifest might remain up in the air, but there is at least some good news for fans of the NBC sci-fi series!
In a surprise turn of events, Netflix has managed to secure the rights to the Warner Bros. Television-produced drama which has previously streamed exclusively on HBO Max.
The news interestingly comes as NBC is in the midst of mulling the future of the show, which has not yet been renewed for a fourth season.
Considering Netflix’s track record of helping struggling shows to establish newfound audiences — as seen with the likes of Riverdale, All American and Grey’s Anatomy — the decision to license the show out to Netflix seems to be part of a larger strategy from Warner Bros. to give the show its best chance of securing a fourth season renewal — be it at NBC or elsewhere.
When is Manifest coming to Netflix?
As Netflix has since confirmed, Manifest will be arriving on Thursday, June 10. Fans looking to watch the Melissa Roxburgh, Josh Dallas, Athena Karkanis, J. R. Ramirez, Luna Blaise and Jack Messina led series should expect the show to arrive on Netflix at 3:01 a.m. ET. Meanwhile, those on the Pacific Coast can look forward to starting their Manifest marathon beginning at 12:01 a.m. should Netflix stick with its standard release structure.
How many seasons of Manifest are on Netflix?
While Netflix has not yet confirmed how many seasons of Manifest will be arriving on June 10, it is believed that fans should only expect the first two seasons to arrive on Netflix, at least to start.
The season 3 finale is set to air on NBC that same evening, so it’s possible we could see the show’s third season arrive on Netflix shortly after its finale. However, at this time, it is unclear if season 3 will be coming to Netflix or streaming exclusively on HBO Max.
