Netflix: When is Sweet Tooth season 2 coming out?

The long-awaited series Sweet Tooth just premiered on Netflix on June 4, 2021, and fans of the original series are already begging for another season.

The Netflix series, developed by Jim Mickle, proved to be an adaptation that emulated the fascinating 2009 comic book series to the finest degree with breathtaking visuals, amazing directing, and impeccable costume design.

What truly made this series great was its talented cast that brought the vision to life. With Game of Thrones actor Nonso Anozie as Tommy, Adeel Akhtar as Dr. Sing, Dania Ramirez as Amy, and, of course, breakout actor Christian Convery as Gus.

Standing currently at an incredible audience score of 93% and a perfect critic score of 100% on Rotten Tomatoes, a follow-up season should be a no-brainer for the streaming platform with such high scores and positive receptions.

While it may be too early for a season 2 renewal, we may be able to predict when fans of Sweet Tooth can expect the upcoming season.

Sweet Tooth season 2 release date on Netflix

Netflix has not announced the Sweet Tooth season 2 release date yet.

Being that the original series was released in June 2021, we could expect another season around June 2022. Usually, there are breaks of about one year between Netflix seasons.

There is a chance that we could see our favorite half-boy half-half deer sweet creature once again later this year, but Netflix has to renew the series for season 2. And, that hasn’t happened yet, but it is not cause for concern.

Typically, Netflix announces renewals a month or two after a new series premieres.

Hopefully, Netflix shares news of a second season fairly soon, so that we don’t have to wait too long. Once the series is renewed, we’ll have a much better idea about the season 2 release date.

Stay tuned for more news about the Sweet Tooth season 2 release date on Netflix.
