New fallen dinosaur: Iguanadon-like creature identified via discovery of the Spanish mandible

Scientists have identified a new Iguanadon-like dinosaur roughly the size of a U-Haul moving truck from a jaw fossil was discovered in the Castellón, Spain. Up to 26 feet in length, the herbivore Portellsauro sosbaynati it is closely related to the species found in Modern China and Niger.

The new species, belonging to the Ornithischia branch of dinosaurs, it was revealed Wednesday in the newspaper PLOS. Although the sample used in the studio it was originally discovered by a trio of scientists in 1998, on research team of ‘Il latest identification of Portellsaurus as a unique species (called for the hatch region of Spain) provides crucial information on evolution of hadrosauroids in the early Cretaceous period.
