New procedures to verify the immunization of arriving residents in Saudi Arabia

The General Authority of Civil Aviation in Saudi Arabia has issued a circular to all airlines operating in the airports of the Kingdom, including private aviation, in about the procedures for checking the immunization status of residents before boarding the plane in departure for the Kingdom.

The authority stated, in a tweet on the “Twitter” website, which is approved to highlight the immunization status of travelers by highlighting the health status in the “Tawakkalna” application or by submitting a report certifying immunization in the Kingdom via the “Qudoom” platform.

The Authority had instructed all the airlines operating in the airports of the Kingdom to update the entry mechanism and the procedures for the arrivals in the Kingdom of residents and visitors from the admitted countries and to reduce the institutional quarantine period.

And the authority affirmed in a previous statement, that the instructions included that a person who is not immunized and who has received a dose of the Kingdom approved vaccines, must submit a negative test (PCR) of a sample taken within 72 hours prior to departure for the Kingdom at the lowest rate high and that quarantine procedures are applied The institutional quarantine for a period of five days and that a corona examination is conducted within 24 hours of arrival and another examination on the fifth day after arrival (the visitor must comply with the crown examination in according to what appears to him in the “Tawakkalna” application in the history service), and the institutional quarantine period ends.
