New York Islanders coach Anthony Beauvillier has plenty of season. He has scored 22 points in 35 games (10 goals, 12 assists) and is poised to finish 2019-20 with a career high of 51 points.
So what is a young, budding NHL star to do over the league’s Christmas break? Beauvillier, 22, decided to shoot the shot by sending a tweet out to actress and singer Anna Kendrick. We don’t know exactly what Beauvillier’s got in stock this year, but Kendrick’s attention may have been at the top of his list.
Tweet was quickly captured on Twitter, and some users have decided to offer some help. Several users started responding to Beauvillier’s tweet – so could he and the “Pitch Perfect” star – and attracted him with some, uh, interesting congratulations aimed at him.
thank you husband for letting me use your tools during your animal shelter collection to save the puppies. Your cup was too big but except that everything went well. Thanks again!

According to various Twitter users, the Sorel-Tracy, Que., Native has rescued kittens from a hurricane in the Bahamas, saved a man’s life by donating kidneys and having open heart surgery. Anyone who is familiar with the “wing” of a friend recognizes these tactics.
Even former islands defender Bruno Gervais came into action, putting the Beauvillier in an almost mythical state.
Remember Beau, when you saved me from a furnace, cooked a 7 course meal and taught me 8 languages, it was a great day

Beauvillier made many new fans during the holidays – a New York Rangers fan thanked him for buying him a new computer for Christmas – and by all accounts, he seems to be a stand-up citizen. But could any of his fantastic performance convince Kendrick, who seems to be happily dating British director Ben Richardson?
The actress finally responded on Friday, thanking Beauvillier for communicating – and all Twitter users for answers to her long-running entertainment.
These answers have been my entertainment for the last two days. Thank you all for annoying me with the true stories of this man’s heroism.

Keep your eyes peeled for any possible Kendrick appearances in future Islanders games, though. It’s never too late for Christmas to become a reality.
