New Zealand knocked Sri Lanka out of the U-19 World Cup with a three-wicket win while Afghanistan joined them in the quarterfinals following a 160- run success over United Arab Emirates here on Wednesday.

Chasing 243, New Zealand required 6 run the last 2 balls and number 9 Kristian Clarke managed an unforgettable win with a 6 over deep midwicket, sending his group to the quarterfinals. Sri Lanka had actually published 242 for 9.
