Algeria: The Algerian Football Association stated on Tuesday that the women’s team is still staying at their hotel in Khartoum, the capital of Sudan, while they wait to leave.
The Algerian national team was supposed to play the Sudanese team tonight, Tuesday, at the Omdurman City Stadium.
It was the second leg of the first qualifying round for the 2022 African Nations Cup, which was supposed to take place next year in Morocco.
However, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has decided to move the match to a later date because of the fast-paced changes in the country.
The Algerian Federation’s website said that the team’s mission is still at the “Coral Khartoum” hotel, where she has been staying since she got to the capital of Sudan a few days ago.
It was also said that members of the Algerian diplomatic representation in Khartoum are working to set up the team’s mission while they wait for him to leave.
It is interesting that the Algerian national team won the first game with a score of 14–0.
