Will There Be an All American Season 6?

Yes, there will be an All American season 6. The CW renewed the sports drama for a sixth season back in January 2023. This was considered an early renewal since the fifth season was still airing at the time.

We look forward to continuing our collaboration with showrunner Nkechi Okoro Carroll, Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, the entire creative team and the incredible cast for another season of captivating family drama.”

When is All American Season 6 Coming to Netflix?

As of now, it’s uncertain when the sixth season of All American will be available on Netflix due to an ongoing writer’s strike. Updated: All American Season 6 will start production in Spring 2023 with a target release date of April 2024. The show must complete its run on The CW before it can be added to Netflix’s library. Unfortunately, it’s still unknown when the airing of the sixth season will commence. Typically, new seasons are launched on The CW in October every year. However, the writer’s strike has thrown a wrench in the works, and the start date might be postponed.

Rumors suggest that production on the sixth season was scheduled to begin in the summer of 2023. However, if the writers are unable to complete the scripts due to the strike, production will be delayed, and the air start date will be pushed back. But if the scripts were already written before the strike began, the production schedule may remain unaffected, and the show could air as usual in October. However, it’s still unclear whether this is the case.

All American’s previous seasons have been added to Netflix’s platform eight days following their last episode on The CW. For the past two seasons, that has been in the month of May. As per this pattern, if the sixth season starts airing in October 2023 and concludes in May 2024, the season is expected to be available on Netflix in May 2024. However, if there are any unforeseen delays in the filmmaking process, the season’s arrival on Netflix could be pushed back further.
