Nigerian voters go to the polls today to elect a new president for the country. More than 87 million voters cast their votes in 176,000 polling stations to elect a new president who will succeed the current president, Muhammadu Buhari, from among 18 candidates, as well as deputies and senators.
Polling stations are scheduled to open from 7:30am to 1:30am GMT, with polling results announced within 14 days of voting.
