Jennifer Lawrence hasn’t been in a movie in a few years, but she’s back with a vengeance. After making Don’t Look Up and Causeway, she reminded everyone why she was one of Hollywood’s best actors. Now that she has her own production company, Excellent Cadaver, she is in a new and exciting part of her career. She can now choose her own work and get it started, just like other actors like Scarlett Johansson, Margot Robbie, and Viola Davis. Many people thought Lawrence would stick to more high-end movies, but her latest, the R-rated comedy No Hard Feelings, is a coming-of-age story with a unique story and point of view that is sure to win over critics and audiences alike.

When the movie was first put up for sale in October 2021, raunchy comedy streamers like Netflix and Apple put in bids, but Sony won. This means that No Hard Feelings will only be shown in theaters.
The movie will eventually be available to stream on Netflix thanks to a deal made between Sony and the streaming service in April 2021. Since then, films like A Man Called Otto, The Woman King, and Bullet Train have been released on Netflix after their theatrical and pay-per-view (PVOD) runs were over.
Trailer for No Hard Feelings?
On March 9, 2023, Sony Pictures released the first red band trailer for No Hard Feelings. Set to Nicki Minaj’s “Super Freaky Girl,” the edgy trailer gives us a good look at the film’s goofy tone and R-rated sense of humor as Jennifer Lawrence tries to seduce Andrew Barth Feldman.
Sony Pictures put the second red band trailer for No Hard Feelings on their YouTube page on May 25, 2023. “How far would you go for a Buick Regal?” is an old question. The 2-minute preview is set to Lourdiz’s “All My Bitches,” and it shows Jennifer Lawrence’s character trying to connect with Andrew Barth Feldman.
No Hard Feelings Plot?
The main character of No Hard Feelings is a slacker from Long Island hired by a wealthy couple to hang out with their shy son before he goes to college. Reports have said that Bad Teacher and Risky Business significantly impacted the movie.
The official synopsis from Sony reads:
Maddie (Lawrence) thinks she’s found the answer to her financial troubles when she discovers an intriguing job listing: wealthy helicopter parents looking for someone to “date” their introverted 19-year-old son, Percy, and bring him out of his shell before he leaves for college. But awkward Percy proves to be more of a challenge than she expected, and time is running out. She has one summer to make him a man or lose it all.
