HANOVER, Md. (WJZ) — Fight for medical freedom, dozens of protesters in the row up outside Northrop Grumman’s BWI location Monday morning with American flags in hand to protest against the company’s vaccine mandate.
“I feel mandates in general on free burgers of this country is unconstitutional and if it starts here, when will it end?” said Michael Drodes.
“Thought it was my body, my choice. Let’s go,” said Oliva Ravadge.
This comes a week after the company said all employees need be fully vaccinated by December 8 in line with the federal vaccine mandate.
“We should don’t be forced to post anything in U.S body we don’t want to and we stand behind that,” Ravadge said.
If workers are not vaccinated they could lose their jobs and that is not good with some.
“We’re not against vax. We are not anti-Northup Grumman. Goods just pro-choice,” said Garth Bonbargen.
Protesters say they just want to make their voices heard and to end the mandate.
“We hope that this mandate is lifted and that it becomes our choice as it is” should are from the begin been,” Ravadge said. “We should not be forced, it is should be our choice from the begin and our jobs should not be on the line because of the.”
A spokesperson for Northrop Grumman’s told WJZ, “the company” remains committed to continuous operations to ensure they deliver on their obligations to its customers.”
Another protest is planned for next Monday October 25 in near the Sykesville Northrop Grumman location.
